First dealer offered me £4400, second offered me £5000, my bike is just under 2 years old I purchased it May last year £7500. Both 1200's were in excess of £8000
The reason......Ohhh high milage sir.....I purchased it with 3000 already on it and I have added 35000....why is it such a problem with miles...![]()
Well your mileage is high - well above the average, and its the averages or norms that tend to steer the market. Lets do the maths. Depreciation is £2,500 for 33,000 miles. Thats 7.5 pence per mile depreciation due to mileage. Is that really so bad? I don't think so...seems quite reasonable motoring costs to me, and that's without taking account of the grin factor... I dread to think what the cost per mile would be on a Jap bike...
