I did enjoy that - thanks for posting. Shows just how much bikes have moved on in the last 30 years. The review calls the R80ST 'sporty' and even goes as far as to state that the brakes are adequate
As an R80ST owner I know full well that its far from sporty and terrifyingly under-braked - but it is a lot of fun
the screen appears to be original, it has a bmw badge embossed in the plastic itself and he has an invoice for that with relevant part numbers for the screen and fitting kit.
Funny how you get complete opposite opinions on the same thing. I toured two up for up to six weeks while camping around europe on an R65 quite a few times without any problems back in the eighties and the bike was absolutely loaded up to the hilt..
