She's a 2009 GS in Slate Grey.

Picked my new (but pre-registered) 2009 R1200GS up from Jefferies on Saturday
Only did around 20 miles though before the crap weather set in, so it's tucked away in the inlaws garage now until the weather improves

I bought mine in October when it was still warm and sunny. Does this make me not a twat??
It doesn't matter when you buy it as long as you RIDE it in the winter. The other weekend I went on a group rideout where riders of Pan Europeans, Yamaha FJR1300s and other plastic-fantastics were tip-toeing around the wet leafy lanes while my GS felt it was fully at home. Now I know I bought the right bike.

Don't understand anyone who puts their bike away for the winter,especially a gs it's the best bike i've every ridden in winter.
Done a 150mls of muckey back lanes and B roads on my 59 1200 today, fantastic.
Get home rinse it off put it away,give it a good clean every 4/6 weeks done it this way for years and have never had any serious problems.
