WhatsApp question

I've got WhatsApp on my iPhone as well as on my pc which has Win 10. For the last few days WhatsApp only works on the iPhone but isn't updating (synching??) on the pc. I'm about to try uninstalling and then re installing the app on the pc, so my question is whether it will get it back up working again without losing all the chats that are still accessible on the phone?

yes it will work as IIRC it just mirrors whats on the phone

Mine does that sometimes and i just close it down and re start it again and it works ( the app on windows that is )
