Who's ordered one then?

I'm liking what I see about the new bike. But am a bit pissed over the 'zorst and drive shaft swap as that means new panniers. I'll likely put a deposit down on the Adv model as soon as its announced.

Metal Mule panniers for me next time round though.

Me thinks if they use the same rail system there could be a way round using old ADV panniers, well at least the large one. Also pretty sure the exhaust one could be modified for the other side.

I must admit it did get my attention... My 05 has only 12000 miles on it. Frankly I don't ride enough these daze to warrant paying out that kind of money for 5-10 days riding a year.

For me the GS is the wrong bike for this country. The roads are snarled with traffic as soon as the sun comes out. Stop go, stop go on tippy toes that's all I f*cking do.. Go to events & they too are slammed with f*cking traffic..

Rain, cold, wet..... f*ck it, it's no longer fun to ride in those conditions. Wimp ? Yes.. but I bet I've been riding bikes longer than you..:rob

Looking at going back to basics with (possibly) the KTM 690 Duke..
Light, slim, pokey enough to be fun..

Yes.. I'll keep my other bikes for riding on the continent... Riding a large ( any large) motorcycle in England ? Forget it...

Still tempted though... :D

What's the point in even having a bike if you only ride 5-10 days a year?:nenau

I think a hilltop remap will put the air cooled in the same territory as the water cooled which seems like a cheap update to me. :beerjug:

Whilst I don't doubt that the Hilltop remap is very effective it's not going to push a dohc gs upto 125bh.

I also love my dohc gs and have considered going down the route of a remap but I'm going to hang fire until I've riden the new bike cause if it's as good as it reads I'm having one

Congrats:beerjug: when it comes though you'll wish you put a bigger deposit down; less to pay out on the day:rob:D

According to Bike magazine, the base model 1200WC will start at £11500:blagblah:augie

It seems they know more than BMW these days:rolleyes:
