Wilbers rear suspension on R9T Sport.

Anyone fitted the Wilbers 640 or 642 to the rear of a 9T Sport?

Is there much difference?

Is it worth the £700+ beer vouchers?

I can't speak for the Wilbers on the NineT, but had them on previous Rockster and rated them. But, having had a Shock Factory M Shock on my wife's Ducati Scrambler for the past two years, and their twin shocks on my Bonneville for the past three, I've ordered another M Shock for her new NineT Pure. At £350 they do punch well above their weight for performance and quality. On the Pure it's no loss as there isn't one as standard, but they don't have a remote preload adjuster.

Just fitted a Nitron R1 (£480) to my R9T and I'm well pleased with it.

After much thought, I have decided to go for the Wilbers 642. I have had Wilbers on my last two GSA's and really rate the make / quality.

Getting it fitted when back home next month.

Hope I have made the right choice....
