The colour is ok but I don’t think the tank looks right with that colour split .

Was surprised when you said you was changing the colour as the std paint looks the dogs, but I think you have got away with it, looks like a grown up TT.

A big thanks to Alastair for putting the pics up for me. I really am totally useless with tech. I always knew, even as I ordered the bike, that I was going to change the colour. I did not like either of the OEM schemes and flat paint does absolutely nothing for me.
I'm really pleased with the outcome, who knows I may do it every year.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. For me the Stelvio is the best Guzzi I have ever ridden, I'm liking it more and more each time I ride it. I can't wait for the end of May, four days in Wales then straight upto the dales for three nights in Dent.

It's actually red and silver Pete,not red and white. Rubbish photo's, I'm not very good at that sort of thing.

It *might* inspire an NTX version.
This person had his flat gray V85 repainted these colours which came out great looking. The dealer sent pics of it to Guzzi suggesting they should use a similar colour scheme on the V85TT and a year or so later a very similar colour showed up on the V100

The owner didn't care for the colour of his matte gray V85TT so had a body shop add the black stripe on the tank, paint the front of the tank, side covers, and front mudguard, green, then sprayed it all with a gloss clear coat. He said Enzo (the owner of Cadre Cycles) liked the look so well he took a picture and sent it to Moto Guzzi telling them "this is a colour you should offer on this bike." This was before there were any spy photos of the new V100 Mandello, which came out over a year later with a very similar paint scheme. He believes it was more than a coincidence.
