Getting the bike ready to go on Monkeyboy's London to BKK trip.
I wanted to add a proper horn.

You will need them to warn the drivers that cannot see your indicators.......

I would love to fit one for the smartphone numptys......

Mounted somewhere out of site.

Are they the Daneli Sound bombs ??

.....I wish I had found a way to hide them but there is no room........

I have a similar pair of Fiamms and fitted them underneath the beak..... they are loud as fuck !

Party trick is to stop just behind Dozy Derek's open window in his repmobile as he chats away on his mobile phone at the lights - very satisfying !

,

Point them downwards or they will fill with water :rob

As long as you remember that you haven't just installed a phaser bank from the US Enterprise!
The dozy twonks will just wonder where the noise is coming from, as they pull out on you.
TRUST NO ONE!
I'm a driving instructor and if you knew just what little confidence a new driver has, you wouldn't either. It's scary.
I rarely use the horn because I just assume that they all will, anyway. That, and I find the horn button on the GS hard to find in a hurry. Maybe I need to practice with it more.
Incidentally, I think that anytime you see some twat on a mobile in their car, I think that you should be legally entitled to blast your horn at them.
To 'warn them of your presence'.
An automatic year ban would be good, too.

I just replaced the standard under the beak with a mini denali sound bomb fits in the space fine and makes helluva better noise. As others mentioned turn the horn opening to the rear or they will soon stop working altogether then you will be back to shouting "damn Cad,Curse you inconsiderate driver! "

The GSA has a space under the RHS fuel tank for a carbon canister. There should be space enough for a half decent horn but probably not two horns.

I'm with @comberjohn on the switchgear. Both horn and headlamp flash are awkward and not intuitive. I've had my bike since late 2012 and still struggle to find the headlamp flash. Its a rubbish awkward design. Horn is better, but in a SMIDSY, I'll be too busy with brakes and steering to worry about hooting the horn.

The standard K1600 horn is even worse its one of those meep meep types
