Welcome to the forum :thumb2

We have a fairly active Scottish Section, with quite a few in and around the central belt.

At least being retired - you can pick your (sunny) days out :thumb2

Al :D

Thrash it:whip always seemed strange advice for a new engine. I recall being told by a sports photographer that racers used to always thrash a new engine as it produced more power at the expense of longevity. An engine lasted a season and then was rebuilt
Anyone else any views on that?
BTW welcome to the forum. You should fit in quite well as most here have retired from the real world or else would like to.:thumb

Welcome young man :D ;)
