I am very lucky in that I have an air head and an LC...
so could someone let me know what or who I am meant to be...
because I thought being a biker meant that whatever I ride and whatever I wear and where ever I ride it.. means nothing ... except a good place to start conversation with another biker.. of any gender.race, creed etc..??

Interesting- I rode one, then bought the 90yr. GSA with 2K of free extras...now that is a bargain. The final engine has been fully sorted of most of its niggles...the new one...well, I've heard lots of disgruntled discussions about it. WIll prob. go watercooled, but only in 3 years when it is ready for the world.

Only point i can see is the LC owners have proved they are the same as the people they were moaning about in the first place.

but there is nothing wrong with the LC, it's a damn fine motorcycle.

The 1100 owners derided the 1150 owners then the 1200 came out and they both ganged up on them, the TC came out and the hexhead owners pummeled them.......... then the LC came out and the (delighted) 1200 owners have now combined with the 1150 and 1100 and the airheads in a pincer movement and weighed right into the poor Wasserboxer guys .... wouldnt bother too much about it, just the way of the world
PS. I've had a 1200 GS (07) and a TC 1200 RT and am awaiting a new 1200 LC TE

I have to agree,
i enjoy my Harley just as much as the LC or my 1200 C All three bikes suit me,
I think i will stick with my 1100 but i might try and blag a test ride on a wasserboxer

Just to put the matter correct . The air cooled barrel/water cooled head boxer engine was invented in 1897 by a Mr Diesel. So it has had time(115years) to be sorted! It was used extensively in cars in the early 1900`s.

I am relatively new to the GS world and here I though I was joining a mature crowd. Its like listening to 5 yr olds b1tching how their toy is more fun to play with.
I mean seriously why do some of you take this sh1t so seriously and why do you give a rats arse what somebody else thinks about what you ride?
Aren't the LC owners the same crowd that used to be your GS brothers last year riding the previous model. So they get beaten up on here because they took the plunge and upgraded. Don't we all upgrade at some point to a new model?
