Well, my HID50's are now on. Hucking Fell they're bright 
As stated above, everything just kinda fits - I used the industrial strength 3M velcro stuff to affix the ballasts to the inside of the fairing. I can't pull them off again but will check this regularly.
Only one slight concern is the brake and clutch pipes/cables brush against the new wires on medium to full lock. This is because the new rubber grommets and wires going into the light housing extend further back. Any attempt to route the wires away from the pipes I felt put too much bend on them and didn't "feel right" in the natural lay of the wires.
Plan B is to lightly apply some form of lubricant where they brush together - anyone suggest one that wont corrode the brake/cable work?
