The rwhp numbers can bevalidaded at europes biggest motorcycle magazine MOTORRAD/PS and not some shop manipulating the dyno and selling you stock hp after their upgrade...end of story !
FACTS not believe...
On the same dyno in Stuttgart where a R9T made 112 hp a E3 R1200GS made 126 hp,a 1290 ADV made 152 hp,a E4 S1000XR made 170 hp and a E3 S1000RR made 212 hp at the crank...!
Factor in less than 10% loss and you got real rwhp numbers...
An HP4Race made 212 at the rear wheel on some dyno here...biggest number ever on a stock bike...even more than a supercharged H2 Kawasaki that has the same displacement...:thumby:

.......I dunno what the importers are like in the colonies but it's well known and accepted here that a bike given to a magazine for testing has, shall we say, an 'optimised' ECU.

Time to get Trump to impose sanctions on Hilltop, and any Hilltopped bikes banned in the USA...............:green gri

And quite often the bike magazine editors always seems to have a new bike for long term testing.........:rob

I had the same magazine numbers on my bikes...Tuck Frump & Hillary !
Trust me stock R1200LC engines make around 115 RWHP no matter what the Hilltop dyno says...:D
Aircooled 2010-on boxer are at 100 RWHP ; easy numbers easy to remember !
If the 2019 R 1250 LC boxers even if only 1170 cc make 129 RWHP I will be very happy...:thumby:

And Arsey as a Honda A-T rider why do you surround yourself with all these BMW riders who don't understand your Honda anyways where engine/handling/braking/suspension "compliment" each other...LOL You are right on this one.
The new Afreeka Tween must be really the most boring bike I have ridden in the last year ! I don't know if it was the slow engine making around 87 rwhp,or the slow and lazy steering with 21 inch front-wheel and only scary small 90/90 contact patch or the soft wallowy suspension ? But for sure they all "complimented" each other...LOL
And tubed wheels for all that money in 2018,that all tops it off...:thumb I hope you always have a tube and tire iron with you when you pick up a nail in your heavy & slow steering tubed wheels...
And yes 150 hp is enough not to get bored for riding on the road while 200 hp is enough to have fun and not get bored on the track !

Not everybody on here rides a GS. Most have probably owned one but have now moved on to other bikes.
Like I said, we all like different things. There are five bikes in my garage and all quite different.

I rode my brother's Rallye a while back and hated it. Plasticy, rattly engine and crap finish.
No need to carry a tyre iron on the ATAS-managed to ride all over Europe on my previous AT without a puncture. But I'd still rather a puncture than ride a GS and risk imploding rear wheel with spokes coming loose or failing brake caliper bolts.Perhaps you should always get a breakdown vehicle to follow you !! :aidan
Enjoy your 1250 when you get it. I'm sure the three year warranty will come in very useful.

Arsey I don't want to loose you here not owning a BMW because you make me laugh which is always a good thing...:thumb2
If you think a GS is plasticy (yes) and has crap finish how would you describe your Honda which is made from the cheapest plastic and thinnest paint and from metal that should never see german tools because if you slip the Japanese bolts are instantly round and need to be drilled out preferably with a german steel drill...:D
Im not worried about "collapsing wheels" because I.m not too stupid to use Loctite or a new bolt and torque it right after I take the caliper off.
And I don't worry about anything else because I have a 3 year warranty if anything should fail. After 3 years I'm bored anyways and buy a new bike...The only bike I kept longer that did not bore me for 6 long years was the R1100S that was stone axe reliable on 62000 miles...or wait I had to replace the tires quiet often...maybe the R9T will stay with me that long or even longer ?!
Have fun with your AfreekaTween and may you never experience a flat on your trips because this definitely will be no fun on a bike with tubed wheels...;)
And your brother must be a very patient guy riding with your on his Rally...:D

The paint finish on my ATAS is streets ahead of the shite currently used on BMWs.
I had a lovely 75th Anniversary 1100GS a while back and that had deep, lustrous paint, but the latest bikes are dreadful.Keep living in cloud cuckoo land !! Actually California is pretty similar !! You need to stop smoking that weed !

:thumby:

My 2010 GS TC made 99 @wheel and 110 once it was hilltopped cannot see how he has manipulated these numbers!!

Your crazy with your shaft vs chain assumptions, shaft-drives are a lot heavier than a chain and absorbs more of the engine’s power before it reaches the rear wheel.

I would like to know where your getting all your data from, you seem to come across like you know everything and will not accept your wrong :D

Honestly I wish you’d change the record. :blagblah

Arsecrack. :D
