Some new stickers and rocker covers should be enough to get a 'NEW MODEL' buying frenzy on the go.
It will be enough for MCN to fill the front cover and issue a 6 page pull out on a theoretical shootout with its rivals finishing with 'is it it enoughto retain its crown'
:jager

There's 3 people on this thread wanking themselves to sleep each night over the thought of it already, so I'm sure the magazines will have a field day.

You might be right. One of the articles I read had spy pics of a version with 1250GS-RR on a side panel hinting at they way they saw the bike developing for the US market.
It wasn't until I read a bit further that I realised they weren't alluding to a bike paying homage to the S1000rr type of road abilities, and more leaning towards a two wheeled version of a RangeRover that the penny dropped :D

Not quite , I will keep the old 16 plate until I make my mind up when I get the new one lol , now you reminded me where's the lube captain...….

Updating only due to emissions regs supposedly.....

The sun will soon be up over Bullshit Central.
Though he may have topped himself as it doesn’t look like the new Caricature Adventure Bike has 17 inch wheels or comes in black ....

You have to wonder about Nutty snidely criticising people for wanting to possibly buy the new model GS, yet he openly states his intention to replace his KTM with another KTM when it's 2 years old.

So what's the difference ?

People buy what they want, not what others tell them they want. If current GS owners want to buy a KTM or any other bike, then I'm sure they will.

Banging about weight is another load of bollocks. A few KG on a bike means nothing compared to the weight of the rider, and BTW, have you seen how heavy the new Triumph explorer is and that is a very top heavy bike compared to the GS.

I have and rode one on test and it is top heavy as you say , but I wont admit that to some as they may state i'm talking bollox.
