Agreed!
But it’s probably crap at Laguna Seca
Unless it’s black

Touché !! I thought the letter was about putting poo on a card and sending it for the bowel screening program![]()

There's 3 people on this thread wanking themselves to sleep each night over the thought of it already, so I'm sure the magazines will have a field day.![]()
I can remember when you were like that...

You’re completely missing the point. I’ve had zero issues with my KTM, as have most others, so I’m more than happy to buy another one.
The current GS with all the issues is embarrassing, so it makes me laugh that people would rush to buy another first year bike when the current model still has a lot of issues.
If it's to any comfort, lots of people will buy the new bike because they have a current GS/GSA LC with no issues as well.
The GS/GSA is not the best selling bike for BMW because the customers are idiots. It's the best selling bike because it delivers what they want from a bike.
They percive it as a comfortable and reliable bike.
If any one of us is buying the new 1250 and this will brings you in a good mood, well, that would be win - win, right?

5 LC’s. The first one had bent forks, the second GSA had the paint rub off the frame, tank & swing arm within the first week of ownership. It seems that the current GS bikes are similar to a game of Russian roulette, and it surprises me that some people are happy to buy the next model when the current one still has so many issues.

So you bought 5 GS LC bikes even with the faults you listed. Ergo, by your own and Arseys analysys, you must be a blinkered muppet !![]()

Ah, but what gin?![]()
Hardly. Three didn’t have faults, two did. Read my post again.
The difference being that I’ve moved away from the GS, and wouldn’t consider another one until there’s a marked improvement in build quality. Is that the actions of someone blinkered?![]()
About a year ago you bought a brand new GS Rallye, declared it to be brilliant, then sold it with very little mileage and presumably no issues (I was really tempted by that bike which is why I remember it!). So what changed between then and now in your personal experience?

You mentioned earlier that most GS (greater than 50% say) have faults but your self informed experience states only 40% having faults......make up your mind which is it.
Oh and while you are at it let us know why you torture yourself posting 22k times in the LC section. i think you are the knuckle shuffler.

And as to the 22k posts, they aren’t just limited to this section, I post bollocks all over this wonderful forum!
