Having picked up my 2008 GSA from teh dealers on Friday and ridden it home, I have been frustrated by the foul weather over Saturday as I was eager to get to know the bike better.
So I woke up this morning to cold and wind but dry(ish) roads and decided to get some miles in before the violent weather forecast for this afternoon.
I spent some time getting the bike on and off its centre stand and generaly walkig it around to get used to teh balance and weight - so different from the low-slung sports bikes I have been used to.
Then it was up in the saddle, start the engine, snick into 1st gear........I said snick it into 1st gear...........ah. The gearbox seemed reluctant to go into 1st. I tried the old trick of clutch in and out in neutral, and eventually 1st engages.
So is this a cold-start problem or just a peculiarity of the bike because everything is fine when warm?
Cheers all.
