Sorry but you can't message until you become a subscriber But I only need the last 7 from the "Z?12345"No it stays on all the time. two wires My 1200 is in a hundred bits waiting the repalcement engine that was "supposed" to be good being refurbished !![]()
That's the problem mines in bitsthanks again! Wish I could help you with the motor issue your having, is yours a similar vintage to mine? Could do with a picture on where the plug is exactly, been looking all over it for one today.
Rear brake light switch loom colours are yellow/black and yellow/greenThat's the problem mines in bits
But it's a green wire with black trace and a yellow wire looks like no tracer colour on it
The brake switch cable is 910 mm long so that is as far as it can go
I think the rear Abs sensor is in the tool tray maybe they tucked the brake connector in there too ?
@Santa-2512 or someone else might be able to confirm Loom side connection colours ?
Nice one Thank youRear brake light switch loom colours are yellow/black and yellow/green

Thanks fifth horseman, much appreciated. The brakes work fine and the fail indicator is stuck on steady not flashing.I think we may have gone bit wrong here...
First, the connector with brown and red/green wires is the accessory power connector, if fitted the front brake light switch wires are white/grey and white/violet.
Second looking closely at RealOEM for your bike it is slightly misleading as where the brake light switches are mentioned it also states "X630A=No" - meaning (I think) that when the bike is equipped with the later IABS2 system there are no brake light switches, this certainly applies to the later bikes. The ABS unit signals to the ZFE to trigger the brake light when there is pressure in either the front or rear brake circuit.
The fact that you have an brake fault light showing indicates a problem with the ABS unit itself - needs a diagnostic unit like a GS911 or Motorscan to see if any fault codes are being produced by the ABS.
Can you confirm that the brakes work OK (ie not stuck on) and is the brake fail indicator steady or flashing.
I should have read the first post !!!!!!Thanks fifth horseman, much appreciated. The brakes work fine and the fail indicator is stuck on steady not flashing.
DrFarkoff, no problem you've been very helpful with it! Looking at the gs911 it's £300, unsure on the motoscan, Does anyone in the north west do code reading at all would you know pls?I should have read the first post !!!!!!
Grrrrh!!! You NEED to get the fault codes read !
Usually a solid Red means its lost power to the motor Brushes stuck
But the illuminated tail lamp and brake switch threw me off! a GS911 or a Motoscan will give you clues as to what is going on
Thanks fifth horseman, much appreciated. The brakes work fine and the fail indicator is stuck on steady not flashing.
