Odd one, I’ve replaced all coils. Balanced the throttle bodies and valves done 3k miles ago.

Recently full service and bike seems to run nice when going.

Done recently around 2500 miles and it’s just started this.

When you come to a stop it sometimes sounds to be idleing slightly high. On off and it will be ok.

I’m seeing today that sitting at lights it will tic over nicely then sometimes just gives a little miss at tic over. Sometimes if you just catch it wrong it could just about stall when you take off if that makes sense.

Any ideas what it could be?

Once your going it seems fine doesn’t se to miss when riding it, only at idle once you come to a stop at a junction for example.

It’s not all the times, very odd.

my thoughts greatly appreciated. Away to do a trip to France so if there’s something up I’d like to try and remedy before next week.

Cheers
Mark

I read it here that these wee caps can cause such issues, check how tight they are on, any tares or perishing of the rubber?........might want to try that before going deeper.

Good luck.

Mine (2010 GSA) was kinda playing up like that earlier today, put it down to the high temperatures. Didn't give it another thought after that.

I think these bikes have gone through deserts before without issue, a Scottish climate is never that hot to bother air cooled bikes.......or BMW would be in trouble. :D

Yep, this is why I’m thinking somethings up. Done all the usual culprits so kinda head scratcher..
