It seems to be better, as in the screen refresh isn't dog slow on my laptop. And I don't think anything else has changed.

Well, I'm sticking with good ole fashioned 6.13.7, unless Garmin by some miracle or fluke introduce a worth while improvement.

Does this fix the 'blue flag' POnI problem?

No blue flags on mine now, just wee green dots, much better.

Stand down, am talkin pish.

Turns oot if you drag the route to someplace with a place name, you get a green dot but if you drag it to an open road, you get a 'blue flag'.
