I'm a phone all away from buying a 2012 triple black 1200gsa, at a shade under 10k it's 5k cheaper than the nearly new water cooled ones I was looking at, that's quite a saving, it's fully serviced and as new with 12k mikes on the clock, all the panniers etc, should I go for it? Is it too much money? Any issues with the2012's?

Thanks folks.

I have the very same model/year with just over 30K & has been superb .

Price looks good. The last year of an old model are generally sorted of niggles whereas the first year of a new model....
(I have a 13 TB GSA with 12k miles, no issues at all, great bike)

Yes Yes and Yes. I got one at the end of June and still smiling. Shame I have had to have it back in to fix an output shaft oil seal but the bike has been great. And I think the T ripple Black are the best color combination.

It's twice the bike the WC is for quality and will hold its value tenfold .

I recently picked up a 2011 GSA with FSH, BMW panniers/top box and 5,000 on the clock for a over grand less than you're being quoted - OK it's red but can't see the triple black scheme being so much more expensive...have a go at your vendor for some more ££££'s off the price.

Any regrets? None whatsoever - fantastic bike!!! ***BUT*** is a hell of a lot louder than the 1150GS

Nope, don't do it, they're shite.:rob

There, that got your attention!:aidan

Do it, you won't be disappointed.:thumb

I sold mine, loved it, sold it to save money, couldn't be without a bike bought a KTM 1290 SA as the WC was not as good.

I bought one today , 2012 model one owner , only 89 miles on it !
I'd been looking for a winter hack but when I saw it had to get it .Not selling the LC Adv , or T Max but reckon it was worth buying as it was so lovely .Having had 4 oil cooled 1200's it's the nicest looking one I've seen . Go for it

If you fit Wilbers suspension, decat headers and Hilltop it you'll still be in pocket and have a much better bike than the TC, IMHO.

Eh ? It IS the TC...presume you mean the LC ?

Last of the Twin cams ....:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2

Triple black and the 90th GSA's best ever :rob
