I bought a Super Pro Avi kit last November and tried to connect it to my 1200 this evening. I already had it wired up for my old Active Pro unit so it was a simple matter of connecting the new unit up. I switched on the ignition and the the red LED illuminated, but there was no power reaching the speakers or the microphone. Neither could I hear music from the MP3 when it was connected to aux 2 or aux 3 sockets.

I know the headset is ok as I used it last weekend when instructing and plugged into another Autocom unit and it was fine. I plugged in my wifes helmet to see if my own head set had gone west, but I got the same result with her headset.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.:)

Sorted!!!:D

I spoke to Autocom today and they suggested the power supply I was using might not have been providing enough voltage and they suggested connecting it to the battery to see if it would work. Which it did! I will take a look at my existing power supply when I return from my trip. I'll just have to remember to disconnect the Autocom when I stop.:)
