What a day to take the bike for it's MOT:blast

Spent more time going sideways than I did going forward.

Hail?

If I were a Cafflick I'd have been saying more than a few Hail Marys on the way home.:eek
Wind not as high as elsewhere - gusting up to just a scratch under 50mph at the moment - according to the local online weather staions, but the rain is horrendous and we've only just got the power back on after losing it for a couple of hours.

But I've been sat in the candlelight drinking Highland Park...so not all bad:jager

Power came back on just as I was on the vinegar stroke :blast:blush

111 mph on Anoch Mhor today.
Power went out for 1/2 an hour in the pub tonight  still out in laots of places near here
30 guys from SS energy walked in at 10 to 9 looking for dinner, told them I only had the big steaks left :augie

No power at home since yesterday afternoon and the streets of Aberdeen are covered in leaves and branches.
Had fun for an hour or so last night trying to windsurf- 50 mph winds are a wee bit too strong for me- must eat more pies.

Cars are covered in dusty looking...er....dust stuff this morning.Looks like the volcanic ash cloud already reached us up here during the night.

Storms and volcanoes at the same time.....

Here, just had a thought, maybe the Rapture happened?...But maybe not for Ooonyack by the sound of it.....:augie

54kts at Aberdeen Airport!

Oor Wully was going Windsurfing at Aberdeen beach last night (well Newburgh anyway) but found it a bit breezy... I was heading home along Laangstracht and there was a hundred foot length of flat roofing blowing across the road and wheelie bins everywhere.
This was on Rosemount opposite a friends house. Apparently the guy parks it there whilst he goes offshore...he'll be in for a surprie when he gets back:D

I need new specs. I opened this thread expecting to see a photo of you giving a Ned a blow job...

I was out in the garden picking up branches yesterday when the tops started falling off my Horse Chestnut trees .

Fortunately it was a Westerly, so the large stuff landed back in my garden and didn't flatten the neighbours' houses :augie

Today, I'm about to get a chainsaw out and start reducing the fallen stuff down to manageable size.

This is going to be one hell of a bonfire :thumb2

And more to come :blast

Bob.
