Hi guys, just to let you know i shattered me foot today in 3 places, feckin hurt i tell you. anyhow if i dont see you for the next 6 weeks you know why.

dont try jumping 3 tractors on abike, just messin, triped over a step while walking up the stairs, i await the piss take

its the simple things in life that trip you up i guess. i have jumped out of planes, raced enduro and motorcross and never broke a bone that i know of, tell you what!!! i never understood what a pain in the ass it is hobblin around on crutches, need another xray tomorrow to see if i need it pinning.

You need a bicycle with a fixed wheel gear and a pedal trap. Cycle with one foot and balance when you stop on a crutch HTH

heres hoping for a quick recovery to you to Buz. tell you what mate, when all the nasty winter weather has passed, you and i will have the cleanest most polished bikes on the road.

Think i might buy one of those mobility scoots and custermise it. that would be fun, shame the top speed will only be about 8mph

just an update. after 6 weeks in a cast and leg brace i had an xray today to see how its healing....... not fusing together said the doc. we will have to cast it for another 6 weeks. for fuck sake. happy christmas to me,
have a new bike jacket and helmet that i cant try out. oh and work aint to chuffed. should be fine by the time spring is here.

by the way what has happened to the NW section, seems to of died a death##

You're still in with a chance of recovery before me.....Looks like my broken Fibula should now be ok its just the Medial Cruciate thats ferked, still braced up but having physio, back to consultant 6th Jan when hopefully get the all clear...

Hi buz, its not a cast as such this one, like a hard plastic boot with neoprene inner and metal bars from my foot to knee, looks pritty cool to be honest and the best thing is i can remove it to wash me foot. stank like a dead rat when they took the plaster off. the doc recons the dvt has done me no favours either. anyhow... chin up mucker and i hope you have a speedy recovery.

Had an arthroscopy op end of September...then knee went pop two weeks later. "You need to come in asap" said my consultant, even mentioning getting me in via trauma ward....so here I am, still waiting for the fecking MRI scan and no sign of an op yet !!
Probably get it done ( knowing my luck ) just in time to miss the Dragon Rally

i think we should have a NW section knobbly knees compatition as you would be the clear winner,
on a serious note mate i also wish you a speedy recovery
