Because you obviously know the cost that BMW pay for Brembo callipers and how much they are saving by fitting Hayes callipers - pray tell, I would be interested to know how much cheaper this inferior product is. And what does buying a new bike have to do with egos?

I will be retro fitting the Brembro calipers back onto my 1250 as the new brakes do not have the same feel as the old system , not that they are bad its just the feel is not there.
I have a set ready to go on , second hand but off a 6000 mile bike.
Just need a rear one now as the rear is gold
All you need now is a decent retro Analogue clock set, that you can see in all sunlight angles, and a proper old fashioned reliable fixed cam setup that won't shit the bed one day on tour.
You'll have upgraded to a real nice bike then

Yep and mine in for service and software upgrade in 17 days, so should get warp speed.............
I'd keep it as it's only just run in,my 2and a half year old RS has done 17000 miles ........ so the time its 5 years old it will have 34000 on the clock.
