Bit of an update on how the season has gone ( going ).
We went down to Bala for the last round of the British downhill championships early September but it was a weekend to forget tbh. Practice was ok but crashed out of seeding and his race run so came away somewhat subdued. At least we’ve had a look at the track now so know what to expect next season.
Back to Hamsterley for the end of season shoot out and just missed out on a podium so a lot happier. His riding pal broke his leg badly at Dyfi bike park and I think that’s been on his mind as he’s been sending him pictures and it’s not a pretty sight.
The Saracen team are cutting back on sponsorship and had a bit of a farewell ride out up at Fort William a couple of weeks ago so we went up and despite the weather we had a great time. He got to ride with British champ Matt Walker who’s a top lad and his pals Charlie and Ruari who’s Scottish champ. Saracen did a video and Ollie did an interview near the end. Back to Hammers next weekend for Danny Hart’s winter series so fingers crossed he gets a result.
