Engine Modes not working

Sounds like the switch might be gone then - is that an audible click just as you pull in the clutch - will go and have a listen if it stops raining!

When I road in today I can change modes by simply

Changing mode then coming off the throttle

No clutch etc

There is a microswitch in the clutch.
It should click when you pull it in.

This disengages the cruise control and also changes ride mode.
if it doesn't and you can only do it pushing the throttle forward, the switch has gone.

I had the same issue, found the clutch micro switch was loose and just needed tightening.

Try starting the bike in gear with the clutch lever pulled. If it won't start it's the switch or switch actuator on the lever that's not working.
