Before going to my local dealer this week has anyone had this random issue, and I mean random! I've read diagnostic stories of faulty fuel pumps (3 pumps failing in one year). Software update? Valves?? Dirty sensor???
After the warning light popped up today, the bike sounds and performs just as good as I got it, it's great! She's an old girl at 2019 with 70,000 miles literally only last month... which makes me wonder if BMW are doing a spot of scaremongering here
The bike has been behaving brilliantly since upgrading the battery to a Motobatt Hybrid albeit a slight glitch the other week when I didn't ride for two weeks and the engine cut-out 3 seconds after starting — same again, not rode for two weeks because of work and this morning the engine warning light pops up randomly with no engine cut-off or any other issues...could this cause a potential computer memory issue?
UniCarScan can't cancel the warning light so if there's any experience on this would be much appreciated before heading to BMW or maybe upgrading to GS911, to be fair, the warning might even cancel itself by the time I get back to the bike as I've read from other reports...
