It must be sooo upsetting when us whippersnappers complain about paying sooo much money for something that isn't quiet right.

Guess it must be an age thing.

I'm not griping, really. I know how hard it can be to keep any datatbase current, after all some GPS systems don't have the M6 toll yet!

what does nv mean?

And another budget hotel chain in France, Etap.........

Excellent info Whatton! Can I ask a dum question, does 'nv' in the file mean not verified, or what?

As of today, I'd second that! Please pretty please :)

KTM dealers in France, sorry can't find anything on Italy.

Paulw: I don't know what NV means, but your suggestion sounds right. Perhaps it means "No Virgins" :D

Don't need a POI loader, these are waypoints, just open the file up and copy the ones you want into the mapsource file that you want eg next summers trip I'm thinking of doing is Croatia, so I open Croatia 08 and copy the waypoints across. There is a limit to the number though :o

Whatton you are a star. Thanks a lot for all your efforts for which i am about to reap the rewards.

I'm spending a bit of time converting a load of waypoint files into Garmin compatable files. I've done a few and I'll attach them so you can download them.

A very important one first :thumb

The files I've got are all excel documents - so how does copying them over into Mapsource work?

(Or am I just being really really thick.....)

i just tried to look at the somme way points and it says ... "this file cannot be read because it uses a subsequent file version. This program can read mps as well as gdb files version 2 or below" ... sorry to be a pain but wtf does all that mean
