Maybe punch a little pinhole in the top, simply because even if it tears they aint that expensive to replace later, and you will not have the accordeon effect.....![]()
The one on my old RT was around £60!

That is pretty much exactly how I would describe the temperature of mine. I am pretty happy after about 80 miles. It is really good to have the bike back after 5 weeks. I will drop the oil in another 500 miles, check the magnet for bits and replenish.
Ummm.... no we don't.
I bought one bike... that is all.

Bet you buy another. I said I would not after the many issues it had, but after test riding many other bikes - the BMW was the best bike for me.(2 x 1200GS LC TE) I am a crap rider and it makes me feel like a god on two wheels
Just wish the engine sounded like an inline 4
Yeah, I'll buy a R1250 Gsa Triple Black eventually....

Well whoever buys your goldilocks will have a well pampered bike............and what will you do with your new tools..............

It's safe for quite a while yet.... I'm not changing, no point![]()

I aint Barry Sheen and they are talking about dropping speed here to 80 like in France, might end up with a vespa 50Totally agree the more I ride mine the better it feels, what more would I do with a 1250.I aint Barry Sheen and they are talking about dropping speed here to 80 like in France, might end up with a vespa 50

The BMW R-GS/GSA form factor is very good, regardless of engine and farkles attached to it.
The biggest challenge is keeping it maintained to a high standard and then packing in the miles![]()

Just a little extra, I went out yesterday to do a test in temp at 22 C rode it for about 90 mins distance 125 kms came back home FD was hardly warm, thought cannot be right, so been out this morning temp 21C gave the bike a good thrashing in small roads and on the motorway in Dynamic mode, stopped 3 times to check, same thing hardly luke warm to touch, just got home bike in the garage, still the same, FD is hardly warm, total distance covered today 200 kms.
Hmmmm. Mine is hot but sounds and feels great. Maybe friction will be a bit higher on a brand new one that needs bedding in (he says hopefully). Thanks for checking Smogbob.
I'm referring to the 'round' final drive. The bit with the hole through the middle.
Smogbob
