H.I.D. Help

Having read the many postings concerning H.I.D. headlight conversion for the 1200GS I took the plunge and ordered a set (£85 for 2) from Matin Zadehkoochak who seems to have supplied several others to UKGSers.
I usually consider myself pretty competant at mechanical/electrical jobs, but I have to admit that the wires and connectors on my burners and ballasts puzzle me. It doesn't help that the instructions (the set has a brand name of 'GoldenEye'), are very small, refer to blue wires which the set doesn't have, and also refer to a 'cover' & 'spring' (which seems to shroud the burner when it is mounted in the headlamp) which are not in the pack.
Do any of you know what I am failing to understand here?
If I could have a chat on the phone with someone I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the offer Les. I'm new to both this site AND the protocol of 'Chat Sites' (if indeed UKGSer forum is one), so forgive any inadequacies in my communication. How can we communicate - other than by swapping these messages? Can I email my details to you? Should I let you have my phone number?
My typing speed and ability to communicate in writing the many subtleties of my questions on the H.I.D.s would be very frustrating.

Does 'subscribe' mean different to being registered? Does it mean paying a subscription? What are 'pm' functions?

Yes subscribe is the yearly fee of £12 (I tink) it's on the links at the top of the home page.

Had the same problem with the Goldeneye instructions in that there appeared to be more wires than required, found this on a VW site which shows you the wires you need and those that can be thrown away with the OE kit.

Has the added advantage of pictures!

Thanks for that Mika. Certainly it is helpful as the parts/plugs/sockets look the same as those on my EagleEye set. One difference is that my burners have red & black wires NOT red & blue.
I've also done a photo and description but haven't yet worked out how to attach a picture to this posting.
