HELP !

Got my SP111 out today, put on bike, switched it on and it worked fine, turned it off. Messed around with bike switched it back on, got 1st screen and loading map data message then it switches off. Tried without cartridge and it swithches off after 1st screen. Put new batteries in, tried it in my car. Am I doing something wrong or is it back to Garmin. Is so do you know how long Garmin will take as I am going away next week on the bike.

HELP!

Try this edzt
- you'll loose all waypoints , routes etc. but it should help.

1 remove data card
2 hold QUIT, ROUTE and UP keys whilst turning unit on
3 after 10 seconds release the UP key
4 after 10 more seconds release QUIT and ROUTE keys
5 unit will be back to default settings
6 switch off and reinsert data card
7 switch on and use as normal


this was provided by Garmin as a solution to 'frozen' units and has been seen to work - let us know if alls well

Worked a treat, lost all my favourite Cafes but never mind. Bit worried at first as it defaulted to map of USA!!!
