Is it possible that by moving the fuel tank backwards that I have dislodged some conection to something It seems that the bike is only running on one cylinder until 3000 rpm aprox then seems to fire on both. On tick over it is very noisy clangy and struggles to tick over. I have done nothing else except move the fuel tank to fit the engine bars. I have just put the Autocom and radio on to the Blackbird so that I can work in the morning. So again help from the more knowledgable amongst this community. Wont be able to look at it till tomorrow evening. Please help the Blackbird is not my weapon of choice at this time of year so I need to get the GS sorted quickly.

Check your throttle body cables are seating properly on each side. Sounds as if 1 of them has pulled out of its housing down by the throttle body and the outer sleeve of it is resting on the side of the guide it locates in.
Happened to a few of us!
;)

CHEERS EVERYBODY

Thanks to all of you will check it out in the next half hour or so. I knew that I was very careful when manouvering the tank so assumed that it would not be major but did not know where to look. Will I see it without taking anything off?

[B]Just a quick thank you to all for the positive input. Just what good forums are about. Special mention to Steptoe who seems to know all the answers to all my questions. Wheeled the bike out to get better light looked at right hand side used needle nose pliers to reposition job done started first time frost and all. Must have taken all of a minute including starting the bike. I could have looked for weeks and not spotted it.
