and something I have not seen done before. 1100 arm with the 1000 bevel drive/brake/wheel. There were a couple of bikes with this setup there.

So what would be the point in keeping the drum braked hub in such a conversion then, being that sourcing new wheels is getting harder, that no one seems to be relining the hubs, and that the braking can probably only be described as adequate at best?
Is it easier to keep the front and rear wheels parallel using the airhead bevel sans disc? I seem to remember that Rob Farmer at least had some trouble with the amount of ofset created by using an entire swinging arm from an oilhead GS on a special. Just curious
