Is there a way to get sound out of a quest without having to put it through an Autocom?
I have a mate who wants to be able to move the quest from bike to bike and be able to hear the voice commands because he can't see the screen too well without his reading glasses.

is there a divice that lets you take sound out and run it through... say a set of in ear headphones?

Tooned.....he does need a cradle with an audio output, then he can just plug any standard ear piece jack plus into the socket.

He may find he needs to use a boostaroo if he's not using in-ear monitors though 'cos the un-amplified Quest output through helmet speakers isn't great.

Ram man's probably the best bet unless someone here's got a second hand one going and you can abuse your position to snap one up as usual :D :dabone

That one short phrase, tells me this is a windup post :D
You told me you didn't want the rest to know about you and your Quest so you asked me to post for you.

Anyway... Steptoe my MATE wants to know do you get a cradle that doesn't need powered and still has an audio feed out?

All of them do that. :thumb

All of 'em maybe, except the RAM cradle. If you're using the non-powered RAM cradle, you'll be needing RAM's ACQ audio-only cable..

Available in a rather fetching 3.5mm jack:

or the ever popular 2.5mm jack:

Tooned says ..a 'mate' who wants to be able to move the quest from bike to bike ..'

DodgyGSer :D is right if your 'mate' does not want to power the Quest but run off internal Li-ion cell then the ACQ-xx gizmo attaches onto the rear of the GA15 cradle Though if bikes are same then using QPAC with power plug helps a de-install and move between bikes, only a ball base is needed to be anchored onto each bike. If you follow my drift.
