my 54 plate GS has been declared a write off by the insurance engineer, after my tarmac gs/body interface caused by slurry pellets left all over the road, didnt stand a chance,shit really did happen, no real injuries just overextended left ankle tendons ( was wearing full 2 peice leathers and a back protector for once),they have offered £6000 for a 35 000 miles GS which I dont think is bad, will be sad to see the old tractor go, but have my eyes on a fully speced up 08 adventure, but we will see once the payouts have been made, and as it was a single vehicle accident have reported it online to motor insures breau, see what happens

Check the price in a dealer then go back to the insurance if tthey are more expensive and ask for the highest price youve seen. (if they are cheaper take the money and run!!)
Ive sadly had two right offs due to other people and each time have added hundreds of pounds to initial offers.
