Keyless bike how safe.

Happy Days

Keyless ride ordered for my 15 Gs.... The days of having all my gear on ready to go and realising I left the key in my inside pocket are gone! Especially in the heat... Happy days

At last, sense is spoken!:thumb

What about the steering lock or filler cap? Does it operate those as well.
You are more likely to ride off with your disc lock or chain still on, the keys are a reminder.
it seems to me that you will be using your keys just as often as before, assuming you remembered to take them with you and didn't leave them in the garage or front door.
I hope you will be brave enough to admit to your cock ups when they happen.

Steering lock and fuel cap are all unlocked when the key is in range.... And if you've a disc lock you'll have the elastic thingy in the handlebars to remind you!
People seem to be making up problems now just because they don't have the feature!
And yes, if it turns out to be a bad idea I'll come in here and confess all my sins if that makes you happy!!!

You still have to get your keys out.

Not at all, I wouldn't have it because I would do the wrongs things discussed, that's why people bring the points up.

It's not about making me happy, it's about letting normal fallible people know what can happen.

You don't still have to get your keys out. The steering lock and filler cap work with the keyless fob.

And don't worry, if mine fails, I'll be on here telling anyone that'll listen.:D

I was referring to chains/ disc locks

It's not the bike it's the rider that will go wrong.

Where I park my bike I don't use chain or disc locks... They're pointless to tell you the truth...

Now you have made me happy.
Happy for you that you don't make mistakes that normal people make and that wherever you travel it is a crime free area.

I aim to please!
If someone wants to vandalise your bike they'll kick it, if they really wanna take it they'll lift it away, if they want something off it, they'll take it....
As u say, just not where I am😜
