Larger Fuel Tank on 1150

Hi all

just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction for getting hold of a larger tank for my 1150

have seen a company advertising called Kaoko just wondered if anyone has knowledge of them

cheapest way I found was a second hand adventure tank with a dent. Quick respray and job done cheaply Total cost £350

Brian Giles had a couple he might sell. Not got his number but in Pembury Kent. His number can be found on this forum somewhere.

Ah the trick was to buy the bike from him with the tank, thats what a friend done the other day from Brian. You must have bought the 1150 gs with abourt 70000 miles on. A nice bike just run in.

i bought mine from him about 2 years ago it was his when he worked for bmw and had about 15000 on it when i got it

I have the Kaoko on my 1150GS. I like it a lot, but it's not cheap

I think a used 1150GSA tank will be much cheaper.

spoke to brian giles and he has one but is putting it on another bike he is rebuilding and he did say that it would be about the 1k mark

i think i will buy a 1200 gsa or not go anywhere where i can fuel within 200 miles
