I’m trialling the Nav VI as the Nav V has done nowt but play up since I bought it. I know (because I found out through trial and error) that the Nav V will ONLY read Mp3 format music files. Does anyone know if the Nav VI will read other formats?
Sorry as probably no help to you Phill, but it this day and age, I personally just stream (from iPhone via Bluetooth) stuff I want to listen from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and so on. One of the main reasons I’ve upgraded to Nav VI from V

I have a Nav 6 and was excited by the bluetooth streaming feature but found that it doesnt work all that well. Volume is controlled on the phone so you need to touch it and makes finding music a pain.
PS. Ev.... I got the bag. Thanks my blood sucking friend!
BAG???

I use Apple music on a iPhone and the Nav 6 with a BMW helmet, and I can Browse playlists skip tracks go back and fast forward,
Volume is also controlled with the wheelie thing on the left bar
I have found the volume is only set low on the phone by default when using any bluetooth headset, so all I do is before take off is turn the volume onto full before
taking off
On the nav 6 (don’t no about the 5) go into the audio settings and you can adjust the nav instruction volume
