Yes. All 1150 Adventure's have the same 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th. The only option was the low first gear.Colban said:Are you sure on this one?.
I thought that the o/d 6th was an option on the later Adventures.
A lack of a tall 6th would be my only reason not to change to an 1150 ADV.

I've ridden an 1150 with the overdrive 6th. TBH it's less usable in everyday riding than the "sport" 6th (as the Americans call it). It's fine on long dual-carriageway sections but even then you need to drop out of 6th to pick-up speed quickly.
Like anything, it's what you get used to.
