Crazy money ? Arsey I thought you were a pilot making good money so why being so jewish ? You only live once and what other bike you rather have than a GS ? I mean if you have a 1250 there is no reason to upgrade because of cornering lights , LED blinkers/lights and ECO mode ! Especially since we don't know yet if EU-5 has any negative impact on power & TORQUE like it had on the 1290 KTM that lost much of it's powerful mid-range comparing the 2019 1290 S-D with the 2020 model...2 seconds longer roll-on from 60-180 km/h is huge...
But I must admit the GS-ADV in T-B or Rallye White look very tasty...
Reggie congrats on you new bike ! I probably would have ordered a GS T-B with cast wheels and had them powder coated in yellow to save money and gain an inch of cornering clearance or ordered a GS in Rally white with the 1 inch taller sports-suspension and had it painted black and your blue 17" wheels colored yellow...Either way you would have gained one centimeter before pegs scrape...
I keep my 2019 GS-HP for 2 more years and see what the new M1300GS brings to the table...

My order confirmed this morning. Mine is in production and will be ready in Germany Week43 which is w/c 19th October. Should have it first week off November. Left my Rallye at the dealer and got a lift home!! The wait begins.

Just playing with the configurator...and it seems crap :

Why would the wheels change if you change the seat ??

And why does it always show a rally seat ?

Also it seems you cannot have seat heating on the 40 years model ?

No plans to get one , just curious

Configurator has a few glitches!!

But you can have seat heating. You then need to tick the pillion package. That is what I have ordered.

Absolutely gutted that I bought a spanking GSA Rallye TE three weeks ago now. Only got £2k off the price... It hasn't even broken down or even thrown up a TFT error in the 4k miles since. It's completely shit without those "see around the next corner" headlights, and "I've wet myself" seats. Not even proper EU5 compliant.
Ah well

I suppose the next upgrade, spring to early summer next year, will be the updated tft with the integrated sat nav. Fancy they'll hold back the adaptive cruise and blind spot tech for the new model, which surely has to be late next year.
