Mine are apparently Borrani but without spinning the wheels and searching for some form of identification marks I don’t know. They’re certainly not new ones and they look ok so they’ll do for me

Yes, I’ve seen yours On the Norton, they look great, it help me make the decision to get Flanged alloy rims

Lots of wires to sort battery is in,wheel and mudguard on, new seals needed in rear caliper.

Your quite right, it’s just been screwed in temporarily at the moment in case I need to reroute things. I don’t mind you pointing it out at all

It’s lovely and it’s great seeing bikes like that brought back to life.

Mine is languishing in the garage until I sort out registration but I’m not worried because it runs and it charges the battery. It’s probably one for next summer because I’m back at work and on horrendous hours but lockdown has been good for me when it comes to sorting out bikes.

However...................slight set back

I can’t get the fecking gearbox out of top! I’m pretty sure the problem is in between the inner and outer cover and not the actual gears and selectors themselves. Tomorrow could be frustrating

Possibly the ratchet spring 04-0038 broken or distorted.
Also check that you have clearance, between the quadrant and inner case, in 4th and 1st gear.

Thanks. The ratchet spring is new and I was very careful to set it as it should be. I will certainly check the quadrant for the clearance.
