Since I was on here, I just thought I'd post this up. This was an email I received this morning. We serviced and set-up (re-sprung) an Ohlins shock from a BMW R1100RT and the customers we're over the moon! It just goes to show that you don't always need to spend a heap of money to get good results!

Just thought we would let you know that the reconditioned Ohlins shock you repaired for us a couple of months ago is working brilliantly. We have just come back from France, Spain and Portugal completing 3,700 miles in 13 days.

It was the most comfortable ride we have had in all the 20 odd years of riding BMs. We were doing 300, 400, 500 miles a day with only 3 rest days near Almeria in the south. Neither of us had back-ache or shoulders ache at the end of the day!

Hi Will,
I, and probably others here would like to be able to PM you on particular issues that aren`t really open forum worthy.I got a couple of tech questions for example,and PMs are kind of less intrusive than phone calls on your busy schedule,as you wouldn`t have to spend ages trying to explain stuff to hard o` hearing ex DJs, whilst attempting major bike surgery!
SOOO I was jus wondering if you would consider becoming a fully subscribed Tosser here on the wards.Gotta be worth the 12squid to be able to advertise your fine services here to the other inmates .

Kevin is the owner here and far superior to me with regard to technical knowledge (he has put me to sleep many times with his persistent use of suspension terminology!) Lol. But no, seriously, he is very clued up and I'm sure he would relish the chance to display his suspension know-how by answering any questions UKGSer members have!
