There are pictures on the net probably in Enduropark Hechlingen where also the new 1300 GS seen first of a teal enduro based on the R12NineT with tall suspension , big tank and a new exhaust system to be taken off road unlike the hipster poser Urban…I would say if not for 24 it will be released for 25 as the second or third variant of the R12Ninety that also gets a cruiser variant called R12S…
He works for TriumphOr he could just keep saying, ‘next year’ ‘the next model’ ‘when they make’ blah blah fucking blah.
I’m never sure if he had a bike, even rides a bike, but worst of all…I think that he’s being serious and believes all the shite that he comes out with.
Unbelievable!!!
Have you looked at the Triumph Explorer? You get an extra cylinder, the option of a huge tank, lots of revs, all sorts of springs and things.....plus a badge with Heritage! So you guys tell me 1000 rpm more on top and a little top end rush and 10 hp more and a gallon more in the tank would make the new GS less attractive because it would have been too powerful and 4 kilos heavier on paper…LOL Or the Reggies of the world rather try to put their own 17 inch wheels and 320 mm rotors on and would never buy a XR type bike because it would not work with a powerful boxer , shaftdrive & Telelever…You guys make me laugh because you are obviously clueless and I think some product planners at BMW too….I dont say the new GS is bad and I like some features like the TFT sport screen , probably more stable frame that does not wobble above 125 like the 1250 and is still nimble , forged wheels and if you are short the low rider button and probably the all new ESA suspension with adjustable spring-rates which is hard to believe but a smaller tank is a no go , so is the linked rear brake and if not for psychological reasons alone hp should have been above 150 to generate some excitement and give you the urge to open the wallet trading in the 1250…For me giving them probably 18 grand on top of my trade in they did not move the goal post far enough like they did in generations before ! Like I said with 155 hp and a 24 L tank I would have been excited and willing to pay and even being an early adopter but what I see the temptation is fairly low…LOL
Who is the Reggie chap he speaks of?
I thought that too.For some reason, it reminds me of a V Strom
So you guys tell me 1000 rpm more on top and a little top end rush and 10 hp more and a gallon more in the tank would make the new GS less attractive because it would have been too powerful and 4 kilos heavier on paper…LOL.......

No, they will….I read it here..on more than one occasion!I’ll say it but probably regret it but I don’t think they will make M1300gs.
Clifton I love BMW boxers and could buy a S or M1000XR and would have the bike that is practical and fast enough to suit my needs or wants…But I prefer the boxer that protects bike and legs , love the Telelever and prefer a shaft over a chain for obvious reasons ! The new GS did not move the goalpost far enough so I keep the 1250 where I would have loved to buy a new GS after 4 years on the old one…Despite Arsey who is just here because he hates BMWs I actually own and ride one ! And Reggie is the fellow who buys a new GS every other year here on the board and puts 17 inch cast wheels and 320 mm rotors on it like Thousands of other Reggies around the world despite the shortcomings and no additional power to actually take advantage of the sportsbike rubber on a trackday…Hooefully the M1300GS will be this bike done right by the factory !
