Hi Guys, can anyone tell me if there is a toll to cross the bridge as ill be up there next Weds for 5 days and will be using the bridge. A friend of mine says there is but ive never heard of that before.

Also what are the best things to see and do in Skye ?

Thanks

Alan

No Toll there used to be a few years ago but thanks to protest by local folk and Robbie the pict the Scottish parliament took over the bridge maintenance with no cost to the public

You could go and see the Royal Family, if not at Home look in at the Pub. And it's now been renamed Oonackistan:augie

Thanks guys, oh i do intend to visit the pub and perhaps see the great royals themselves!

Make sure you have money to buy the drink they dont carry the stuf(well Ive never seen the King get a round in:augie)

Some fantastic pictures Alan!

I would hate to see somebody coming this far north & not visiting Applecross, a superb run I'm sure you'll agree.

Did the applecross run on wednesday...........views were all of 150 meters at the top.......:D

Try the road out to Achiltabuie then the little road to Lochinver...........:thumb
