Some idiots on the road guys- watch out!!

If you approach them e.g the aggressor open there door/reach in there car legally speaking they could run you over or stab you with the first available object citing self defence and you wouldn't have a leg to stand on (pun intended) but the good news is you can keep your job! If its ok to do it from a wheelchair!

What a bunch of chest beating nobs, it's much Easer to beat the wife and kids and you will more than Likely get away with it. Unless of course it's all hot air formed from years of simmering compliance.

What do you do pal? Is it something to do with publishing- proof reading perhaps?

Unsubscribing from this thread.
It's gone from observation and debate to bitchfest.

Last time i witnessed something like it, was two drag queens arguing over who was the best.
The parallels are remarkably similar.

Your ability to spell seems to cause you more angst than my inability. For the record I'm dyslexic and I think calling me a pleb would have suited you more.

Are you sure all your grammar is correct?

One more thing, go fuck yourself, keep riding like a cock and hopefully some one will kill or cripple you leading to a happier life for your family. Bet your worth more to them dead!

(Note any one wishing to call me stupid because of spelling/grammar can expect similar)

Assumptions, Assumptions. Funny isnt it that the internet does give us all an excuse to despise anyone that might not be able to communicate effectively online. Meeting you on the open road, pal, it is likely that we could have a nice discussion on the merits of motorbikes etc...Keep safe my friend.

Well that's really changed my opinion, really thought you would bite back. I got you completely wrong your no keyboard warrior.
Spelling isn't my strong point but computers and the net I'd like to think are so with no sinister motive I advise that you don't post your email address on forums then be abusive. There is a whole lot of personal info on the net about you and a whole load of nutters out there.

Hope you enjoy the forum. Handbag fighting at less than 10 posts, you will fit in just fine.

Tell me about it, I think I've had a epiphany! Winding up forum users isn't big or cleaver! Well let's see how I feel tomorrow......

An alternative may have been to have held back at the roundabout, let the bell end sod off and carry on riding and calm down a bit. As has been said, there will only be one winner between a car and a bike. Why risk the epitaph 'It wasn't his fault!'

Hear hear
Why can't you just leave it and look after yourself?
There's enough trouble in this world without lowering yourself to the same std. as your aggressor. I can be hot headed but at the age of 38 I've learnt to keep calm and let the knob carry on with his business and I'll look after myself and the wifey if she's on the back. I think it's quite childish having to resort to violence to get your point accross.:blagblah

DOH Too slow, the scrapping is over now is it?, I'm always too slow into it, or am I just bright and let the meat heads get the bloody noses:thumb

You're a mere Whippersnapper on here, Kiddo

Maybe you haven't explained the situation too well, but I can never think of a time where a car has been able to accelerate up the to match my overtaking speed and "fill" the space where I wanted to go :nenau

An overtake should be performed quickly (the more time you spend on the other side of the road, the more dangerous your situation).

If you were on a 125 then you should either build your speed up and ensure that you have a healthy speed to overtake, or as mentioned before, ride to survive and back off if the guy looks like he's gonna be a cock end.

If you were on anything with a half decent engine, you should slap yourself for not overtaking properly and leaving the door open for the guy to be a cock.

Sorry if the above sounds harsh, but I read "I overtook fairly slowly, stayed in the middle of the road, slowed down a bit to see where my mates were and ended up with a car undertaking".
What I would have not read was "I checked for the overtake, dispatched of it quickly, returned to a commanding road position and carried on with my journey". The reason I wouldn't have read that is because it wouldn't be worth writing as nothing really happened other than an overtake :blast

Glad you got all upset. Great idea to park the bike in front of him and approach in a threatening manner too. I'd think it just about gives him a decent excuse to knock your bike out of the way in self defence :blast:blast:blast:D:D:D:D

My mate just did a speed awareness course.

he was completely shocked just how ignorant the other drivers were.

The instuctor had to do a drawing to describe to some of them what a 'dual carridgeway' was - they really had no idea.

Obviously the black and white natinal speed limit sign had no meaning to them.

I just cannot understand how someone cannot be interested in what a road sign must mean.:nenau

Re getting off bike - I always think of Apocalypse now,

'never get off the Boat'

we know there are a lot of cnuts about - so dont need to be suprised.

You do not want to be fighting someone over their ignorance - it took them years to become that profficient:thumb2

that just sounds like the course I had to do - I was the only biker and the others were clueless. One elderly woman thought 40mph was the answer to everything and an eldely man fell asleep!

back to the original subject, anyone read about this?
