Rusty as a rusty starfish - The tank went off to the acid bath for a deep internal clean to remove all the rust

It's currently in the process of being prepped for primer, this tank used to have enamel badges screwed into each side but for it's new application it's having something different! This involves a light skim of filler here and a bit of stopper there. More to follow ......

Forks,forkbrace and mudguard fitted
I need to order some new seals for the wheel bearings and some new gaitors for the forks but for the time being I have refitted the front end to keep it from getting damaged
Looking good I recon

I want turqouise fork seals. Shame to hide them with gaitors.

I've named this tank Green BMWasaki ....

Mikey wanted the tank badged to be painted on, I certainly wasn't going to say no!
When Mike came down we agreed a colour which was ... ok I guess. Just a metallic BR Green. I called him today and asked if I could do something a bit more special. It looks really cool in the booth under the strip lights, then I shone my torch across it and BOOM!!!

It's had it's 1st three coats of clear, It'll bake off over night in the booth then tomorrow I'll flat it back and give it another three.
