it's a cracking bike.
Maybe it is, but that thing was styled by Stevie Wonder. The BMW GS 1200 LC looks miles better.

Don't get me wrong , I love KTM's , all of them ....but its funny how the KTM enthusiasts and those odd Honda AT buyers seem myopic with these hugely important factors.I thought about a KTM 1290 super adventure but from my perspective there are three main reasons for not choosing a KTM
1) Chain drive - shaft is just so more convenient.
2) Dealer network - it is quite limited, I'd have to travel much further if I had problems - BMW dealers are a step up over KTM.
3) Lastly but not least, I like the GS LC, it is just that bit classier in my opinion.
Oh nearly forgot - I like the Telever suspension more than conventional forks.

I doubt it very much, reason there discounted is because there's a few dealers with 2015 bikes, £13750 was the best I found without haggling.

That's because those enthusiasts are passionate about how a bike feels through the seat of their pants, how it talks to them, how involving it is to ride ........................n ..!

That's because those enthusiasts are passionate about how a bike feels through the seat of their pants, how it talks to them, how involving it is to ride .... And that to me is more important (like on an every time I ride the bike importance), than where my nearest dealer is on the off chance that I break down, (which hasn't happened to me in twenty years) or whether I have to get on my knees once a week for ten minutes and clean a chain with a bit of paraffin ..!
Jeez.. there's some pretentious bollocks written here about a fucking motorbike..!!

So which one are you then?'tis a funny thing but also hardly surprising;
Those that value order in their lives, who hate to be outside of their comfort zone, who see the world as black and white/right and wrong, who value efficiency and lack imagination, are unable to think outside of the box and who over think things are inexorably drawn to that bastion of Teutonic, soulless efficiency, a WBM motorcycle. They are the sort of people who have read in a book that says there is some significant art to be seen in a large museum in Madrid, go and see it and tick that off their list, job done.
Then there are the sort that value a bit of passion in their lives. They understand the world is not perfect but accept, nay celebrate that. They like a bit of a challenge, it makes them feel alive. They aren't sheep, they don't follow the crowd. They have a pop at most things, sometimes getting it wrong but not giving a shit. They love soul and value diversity in all things. There is no right or wrong just experiences to be had. They, in short, are drawn to bikes that make their souls soar and make them feel alive. The sort of bikes that come out of Austria and Italy. They are the sort of people that have chatted to a local in a bar in Barcelona and got invited to a lock-in in a small Tapas bar, still drinking Spanish brandy at seven in the morning.

Ha ha .... Andres has it in one!!! It's about life!! It's about something that either makes you feel alive or not!
(And for the record .. A perfect night for me would be a warm balmy evening, cold beers on the go, a big group of friends at a Spanish bar and tapas on flow all night ...!!)
I ride a Tomos so feck knows
