Looks pretty good, to be a mk1 it must have been a very late one, my first LM2 was one of the earlier ones also on a T plate, the two I have now are later models of mk2's with air front forks, and a circuit board dash unlike the early which was individual wires to all the lights and gauges,

My current usable mk2

And a bad phone picture of my project mk2 that is going to be a V7 cafe look!

I have only a few more parts to buy before starting the build proper, it's got 950cc barrels and cam gear drive, and I will be re enstating the linked brakes!
My first one!

Cool. Got any pictures ?

not many, but some.

i bought the bike for £2199 from the original 3X Garage at Three Legged Cross before they moved down the road to Woolsbridge. had the bike for about 18 months, but got fed up commuting on it through the winter, so sold it for rather less and bought the worst mini ever made.

years later, a friend asked me to go and look at a jota for him. turned out, i sort of knew the guy, and while i was poking about, i lifted a tarp out in his back yard and found my old le mans rotting away under it. it was in a bit of a state. i put the tarp back and haven't seen it since.

Bought another one

I think I have an addiction.

At least it is the same colour so the wife will never figure it out.

Very nice...but that sheds looking a bit cramped, pop one of the Guzzi's over to me and I'll look after it for you :D

How do you cope with the footpeg position? I was struggling with my spada let alone a lemans.

It's a bit of squeeze and I'm 5'11" and 3/4s, although not unbearable. I put it down to it being all part of the '70's experience. The Tarrozi's are more comfortable than the stock items, but I probably loose only 3rd of an inch in leg room as I guess the peg diameter is a little larger than standard.
