They know what sticks the plastic they use.
Small self tapping screws.![]()
Only ever used RTV silicone to attach the fender extension for the last several bikes. You have to be careful, not all silicones are the same, most don't stick to plastics. If it was that easy Pyramid would enclose a tube of silicone. They know what sticks the plastic they use.

Thanks Arsey put the order in today £13700 + £1500 of extras part ex the 2021 GS thanks for the info. You need the bar that’s separate

Well, the rain stopped and the sun came out today and Mrs. Longdog said I could put off getting the Christmas decorations and go for a ride!
I did about 100 miles in all, the bike is really nice even though I am sticking to the Yamaha advised 5k rpm until the 600 mile service comes up. The Rev “limit” equates to around 75mph, so it’s not too much of a hardship. I had the heated comfort seat as part of the free Yamaha accessories and it is quite firm. The riding position is obviously more compact than my S10 was but no limbs seized up which is a good thing! The suspension is fairly firm even in Street setting but the handling is lovely! I am 6’2” with a 33” inside leg and with the seat on the highest setting, the screen is brilliant! Yes, the wind hits my helmet but there is relatively little wind noise and no buffeting at all! Result! I was thinking about the MRA screen, but I’m going to hang fire on that now.
So, all in all, a very positive first ride indeed! I am looking forward to the next one now!
Worth doing the jk3d seat mod

They look similar to the Fenda Extenda, fixing for my Guzzi, used sticky pads which come all shaped, AND plastic rivets like they instructed....never movedI’d sooner use supplied plastic rivets.
Just reading through this and this bike looks a real belter. I really love that engine and did a few 1000 miles on a US FJ09 a couple of years ago and it's smooth and powerful.
Could be a real option for the future when the S10 gets a bit heavy!!

1 second onwards - Bore Man sounds intoxicated.12:30 onwards - sounds intoxicating!!!

I’ve sorted my comfort as fitted a Comfort Air cushion.
