tyre pressure control

hi folks - got new metzeler tourance fitted yesterday - front and rear - on returning home via the M8 i briefly checked the OBC which gave a reading of 2.2 and 2.5 bar - all good so far - a few miles up the motorway another qwik check - reading this time 2.2 and zilch for the rear - once off the M8 i got off the bike and gave the rear tyre a qwik check - no sign of damage and tyre seemed well inflated - contacted the dealer who told me to bring the bike in anytime - meantime anyone have any idea why the TPC is not registering a readout for the rear tyre - PS it was wet and cold up here yesterday

Not if the non-BMW tyre fitter busted the TPC monitor in the rear wheel

Did the dealer use the recommended 78/21 grade synthetic air when he inflated the tyres?
