Yip, they're send out just enough of them to pi$$ the rest of us off.
I remember this feeling on Christmas morning when I was 9.

Ordered online in response to an email from Garmin customer support. Arrived by post. It's really nice with new colours and more POIs. It's luvely and cuddly and warm and it gives me a nice warm feeling to know that mine has arrived and is pissing the rest of you off .... har har.

Money well spent, I reckon. V9 is much more useful than a peerage!

I telephoned Garmin UK last Thursday (08/03). They said they'd run out of the V9 DVD's and were waiting for more to come in. They suggested I give them another call in a weeks time ......
Telephoned them again today (14/3). Was told that they were waiting for another shipment to come in from Taiwan.
One can only assume they grossly under estimated the demand!
Gave up waiting for Garmin so got my spoke in for a copy from Daithi last night (see Ireland forum). Got home from work today to find a package containing v9 from Garmin!!
(Daithi's copy wil'l on arrival, be forwarded to someone on his extensive waitiing list.)

I ordered mine on 20th Feb online, had usual confirmation 7-10 working days etc....
STILL BLOODY WAITING.....
Have called them 3 times, had a range of responses from:
1) Sorry, sir, nothing we can do... you'll just have to wait
2) There is a problem with the discs, we've only just started shipping again (this was 8 days ago)
3) It's very un-usual for them to be this long, but rest assured we have your details and will be sending you one as soon as we possibly can...
OK, so now i'm really wound up.. at least get your story straight garmin! I don't want fluffy cuddly and warm versions of ha ha ha, i want my bloody disc!!!!!
